Medical director announced that Simoncelli suffered 'serious trauma' to the head, neck and chest in the accident. The organisers cancelled Sunday's race as soon as the extent of Simoncelli's injuries became apparent.
After the saddening incident, we proceed back to Singapore, stopping over in Yong Peng for dinner.

On the same day in Italian Serie A football, a huge screen shows a picture of Simoncelli during a minute's silence at the Roma v Palermo at the Olympic stadium.
