ITINERARY:

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur
Day 2: Kuala Lumpur - Genting - Kuala Lumpur
Day 3: Kuala Lumpur - Singapore

INTRODUCTION

It was a food trip in Kuala Lumpur & Genting with Tangshooter butties, featuring non-stop eating action throughout the days, and around the clock. TangEaters made this tagling, 'We shoot when the food is hot, and eat when the food is cold'

DAY 1 (06 June 2010, Sunday)

I met up with May, Wendy and Henry at the LCCT when their flight touch down in KL at around 0900hrs. We hopped on to the Air Asia shuttle bus that sends us to KL Sentral, where we transferred a taxi to the Dorsett Regency Hotel.

While the hotel gets our room ready, we deposited our luggage at the bell counter and went over to Restoran Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh at Jalan Imbi for breakfast. It's my favourite Ba Kut Teh stall in KL!

After a filling breakfast, its walkabout around Jalan Imbi for some shots.

Times Square

Over to Krispy Kreme for some donuts and coffee

Back at the hotel to check in. The rooms are newly furnished, and the rates are pretty reasonable at just RM230 per night. Location is good as it is within the Golden Triangle in the Bukit Bintang area.

Fantastic view of KL from our room

When we were left with nothing to shoot, this is what we do....... with a bottle of Absolut vodka........

Before we knew it, we were hungry again. This time its the famous big prawn noodles and paper wrap chicken stall at Jalan Imbi.

After dinner, we tried capturing sunset from the hotel but due to the tinted glass panel, we were not able to get a good shot of the sunset view without any reflection shown on the window panel. In the end, we decided to do some bo-liao theme shots instead.

From Genting, we took a taxi straight to Mid-Valley Mall, in search of the Penang stall that sells delicious assam laksa. Our efforts were not wasted when we finally managed to located the store!

We were shocked to encounter such a long queue at the Twin Towers before they even dispatching tickets for the skybridge visit. By the time we got our tickets, it was for the 5pm visit, which we could not make it as we will be catching our evening flight back. Eventually, we gave our tickets to a group of Europeans who just arrived and were unable to get any tickets.

Nevertheless, we walked around Suria KLCC Mall and took some shots of the twin tower.
