Desaru slipaway

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Singapore - Desaru
Day 2: Desaru - Singapore






DAY 1 (17 March 2007, Saturday)
It was kind of a last minute trip that Jess & Fire asked me to join them for a weekend getaway to Desaru. I hopped onto their car and off we went into Malaysia via Woodlands customs. We stopped over at Giant Hypermart to get some BBQ stuffs and then head straight to Desaru.

Few of the resorts are selling at extrememly high prices. Eventually we found a seaview room at Desaru Golden Beach Hotel for RM240, and settled ourselves in the room.

It was almost 1700hrs and we began our BBQ for the evening. Ah... my hands were pretty oily, so I didn't capture pictures of the food. What a waste!




DAY 2 (18 March 2007, Sunday)
Next morning we checked out of the hotel at about 1000hrs and went to Sg Ringgit to have some delicious lobsters for brunch. As usual, I was busy eating, hence no photos of the delicacies we had!!

Afer lunch, we head back to Singapore and called it a day.
